Julian has over 20 years post admission experience, having developed extensive commercial litigation and corporate insolvency expertise from his time working in national, international and boutique law firms and from his time working at ASIC regulating the insolvency profession following the Global Financial Crisis. He has conducted litigation in the Queensland and New South Wales Supreme Courts, the Federal Court and the High Court of Australia.

He also has extensive regulatory compliance and administrative law expertise from his time at the regulator and from his time advising in-house at the University of Queensland, having advised extensively on compliance with the Corporations Act and on the making of fair administrative and public decisions.

He has a commercial and pragmatic approach to litigation and dispute resolution, focusing on obtaining the right outcomes for the client. He advises on complex legal issues concisely and in a way that allows clients to make informed commercial decisions.
