Associate

Melanie is an Associate in our Commercial Litigation and Insolvency team, and has a diverse legal background spanning disputes, insurance law, and multi-jurisdictional litigation.

Before joining Enyo, Melanie developed expertise in insurance law, working across both coverage and defence matters. She has advised clients from a wide range of professions and industries, including accountants, engineers, architects, legal professionals, and those in the property and construction sectors. Her experience includes acting for local and international insurers, as well as Lloyd's and London market underwriters.

Melanie has assisted clients in resolving disputes in multiple Australian jurisdictions, including Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, and the Australian Capital Territory. She has a particular interest in contractual disputes, including insurance coverage disputes.

Melanie takes pride in being personable and accessible to her clients. She has a practical, resolution-focused approach to legal issues, aiming to deliver outcomes that align with her clients’ commercial objectives.

Melanie is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
