Associate

Carmel McMahon is an Associate with the Enyo Lawyers commercial and litigation team. She has considerable experience in dispute resolution, drafting commercial documentation & wills and estates.

Carmel is passionate in areas of elder law and guardianship, in particular issues surrounding the legal capacity of clients with dementia. She has acted on the Board of an Aged Care and Private Hospital complex in Brisbane for some years and sat on a variety of Community Committees as well as National Industry and Government Regional Committees.

Carmel heads Enyo Lawyers pro-bono program, having been a volunteer solicitor with the Queensland Public Interest Law Clearing House Inc (QPILCH), now LawRight, for over 7 years, as well as a volunteer lawyer for 5 years in the QCAT JP initiative hearing minor civil disputes.
